Hi Everyone! After being put on the shelf for the last few years, I figured it was time to update this section. Originally this page was called “BREAKING FREE – to be who God created me to be” – as I started my writing journey. I have since really dipped my toes in the water and published my first book… woohoo!! Who says miracles don’t happen? lol.
For those who don’t know me, my name is Sheila Bouchard and I live in a small town in Connecticut with my husband, Dan. Together we have five children: Jennifer, Jessica, Richard, Rebecca, and Samuel. We also have seven amazing grandchildren! Although I have pursued a couple of degrees and have enjoyed various jobs throughout my career, nothing compares to my role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. My lifetime dream is to leave a legacy of what I have learned on my life journey to those left behind, hoping they, too, might gain faith and hope in their Creator for the future.
In my book, “He Saw Me & Found Me,” I walk you through many hurdles in life, which include some of the following:
– An unplanned pregnancy
– Marriage/divorce/remarriage
– Special Needs Parenting, including Prader-Willi Syndrome & non-verbal Autism
– Blended families
– Significant losses
– As well as re-direction & many miracles along the way!
In addition to these events, my story shares how my faith journey has progressed and engages you to be a part. There is sure to be something that will speak to your heart from my story for your story!
